Founding Director
Dr Sarah Nolan
A GP whose work has included a posting as Senior Medical Officer at Thursday Island Hospital and outer islands in the Torres Strait, serving predominantly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, frequently as the only clinician available. That experience, managing complex hormonal conditions, long-term care, and emergencies without specialist backup, built the clinical breadth and equity grounding that HHEI's community mandate requires.
She relocated to the UK in 2023, where she specialises in perimenopause, menopause, and gender-spectrum hormonal care. Her presence on the founding board carries a specific argument: that the standard of care HHEI holds as its benchmark does not require a private clinic or a lengthy waiting list.
